Beacon House Ministries is a Christian Charity that was established to support residents experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness and those living in insecure accommodation. Beacon House offers a wide range of support services, providing a vital lifeline to vulnerable individuals.

The Colchester Night Shelter provides emergency accommodation to those who are homeless. CBH fund this project to provide tenancy sustainment and housing advice which supports residents to find suitable accommodation.

Open Road

Open Road is a drug and alcohol support agency which supports tenants to sustain their tenancies and improve their health and wellbeing. We recently supported Open Road to facilitate an online family support group for CBH tenants for during and after the Covid-19 pandemic, dealing with drug and alcohol issues, and focusing on the issues which isolation has brought to the family home.

Solo Housing assists single people across the East of England to find a safe and affordable place to live, by matching an individual with a lodgings landlord who has a spare room in their home.

Catch 22 work with young people and families, providing early intervention, targeted and specialist support services to those in crisis, leaving care, missing from home or with substance misuse or mental health problems. They also provide intense support to families at risk of homelessness.

Community360 is an independent charity that aims to inspire and enable social action to improve people’s quality of life. They lead on many community volunteering programmes, as well as supporting over 300 community groups a year to access funding, embed good financial practices, recruit their own volunteers, plan and train, and promote what they do.

The Youth Enquiry Service provides a confidential, non-judgemental and informal service for young people between the ages of 16 and 25, with a focus on supporting those affected by homelessness.
